Death of iPS Cells in 96-Well Plates...

My research has been heavily dependent on culturing iPS cells in 96-well plates, as published before. However, I realized that iPS cells die when I culture them in 96-well plates in my lab. I can culture them in 6-well plates, but sort of knew that they grow more slowly than they did when I cultured them at Gladstone Institutes. The problem in survival of the cells seems to be exaggerated in 96-well plates. I had no problem in culturing the cells in any plate formats when I was at Gladstone. Something is critically different in my lab. However, so many things are different here from there as you can imagine. I have to figure out what matters the most to solve the problem. It is tough. I am hopeful though. I am sure I will get it done...
